    Description

Rare Indonesian Copper Bearing Blue Opal Fossilized Wood Gemstone
Locality:  Garut Regency, West Java, Indonesia (Recovered in 2017)
This is a rare gemstone cut from opalized fossilized wood that came from the ancient petrified forest of Garut Regency, West Java, Indonesia.
Volcanoes erupted and the molten lava that was ejected knocked down and encased the trees.
Over the years the trees decomposed and as water rushed over the wood,
the wood was slowly replaced with opaline silica, rich in minerals such as iron, manganese and copper
    contributing to the the special
inclusions such as copper threads and dendritic formations as well as the
menagerie of lovely colors that are reminiscent
of the aqua ocean blue waters and sandy beaches of Indonesia.
Drilling Options: can be front to back drilled at either end, please arrange for drilling PRIOR to paying
