This listing is for the rare American Girl
"JUST LIKE YOU #14 DOLL", made by AG in 2007.
American Girl made the #14 doll from 1995 to 2013. In 2007, they modified her bangs from the original much thicker style, to the wispier, thinner, more modern style of bangs that you see on this doll. She has AG's classic mold face, light skin, light blue eyes and dark brown hair that just reaches her waist and has a hint of curl at the ends.
A 2007 hair care tag for straight hair is on her wrist. She is wearing her original "I Like Your Style" Meet outfit.
This
#14 doll also has
pierced ears
and will come with a pair of AG earrings, plus her book/CD with holder and a JLY 2007 box.
DOLL CONDITION: MINT
I'm a doll collector who has kept this doll carefully stored. She has not been played with and has only been removed from her box a couple of times to briefly model doll clothes. Her classic mold face is unmarked, her body is clean, her eyes open & close properly, her shiny hair is in its original style and has not been cut, her neck strings haven't been cut, she has no "X" on her bottom, she stands & poses easily and her limbs are pretty tight.
I Like Your Style Meet Outfit: Mint Condition
From 2006-2007, JLY #14 dolls wore the "I Like Your Style" Meet Outfit. All of the pieces are in mint condition. The outfit includes:
1) long-sleeve shirt with lavender sleeves & grey bodice with a large flower graphic
in periwinkle, lavender, pink, white & silver.
2) periwinkle, pleated skort (skirt with attached shorts underneath) with elastic waist & AG logo patch
3) white panties with shimmering white trim
4) periwinkle boots with silver trim at the top and a silver bow in the back.
5) lavender ponytail holder which was mistakenly left out of the listing photos; in EUC
Just Like You Box:
The box this #14 doll comes in is the right box style for a 2007 JLY doll, but it is not #14's original box. This box has the #16 on it. The box is in excellent condition and includes a neck brace.
Sparkle, Spirit, Style Book & CD:
Dolls wearing this meet outfit came with a book with the lyrics from the song "Sparkle, Spirit, Style" and a CD with a recording of the song. A clear holder holds the book/CD in place.
The book is in mint, like-new condition with no damage or writing. I have not played the CD but it also appears to be in mint, like-new condition, with no warping or scratches.
