blue jeans, wearing a “Proud to be an American Girl” T-shirt. Scenes and Settings were introduced in this edition. It includes sections on Felicity, Kirsten, Addy, Samantha, and Molly. The pages of this book are framed with colored borders. The
Past-Times
and arts and craft kits are pictured. There are 4 pages of historical clothing for real girls and 2 pages for modern girls.
“The American Girls of Today” are featured along with their modern accessories, grin pins, craft books and American Girl Magazines. 10 pages of outfits for modern dolls of today follow. The American Girls Club is also pictured.
Rounding out the issue are four pages of Bitty Baby dolls, clothes and accessories.
This catalog is in excellent, preowned condition, however, I do want to mention some minor signs of wear. The cover has a small pucker above the model’s right shoulder and and a few creases. The last two pages have top corners that were turned down. The inside pages are smooth and clean. The color photography is as bright as it was in 1996 when the catalog was delivered to my home. All the inserts are here. My mailing address is blacked out.
